Hey y’all, welcome to my blog! I’m Emmalee Calvert, a college grad student at Montana State University learning everything I can about dietetics. I started this blog because like many RDs2Be, I’m working on my Dietetic Internship (DI). Eventually, I’ll earn my Registered Dietitian certification. When I started this, the process was still a little murky to me. I figured if I’ve been trying to learn all I can, why not share it with the world? Join me as I get to know current interns, internships, and program directors from across the US and learn more about them. I hope our insights will help you make the best decision as you decide on your next step in the journey towards getting your RD!
As for me, when I’m not doing regular college student things, I do my best to enjoy other fun stuff. I really enjoy the outdoors and can’t wait to move to somewhere with plenty of trails and beautiful scenery. Since I like being outside, I run, backpack, and hike and hope to get better at both. Some of my other hobbies include crafts, books, and binge-watching too many shows.
Thanks for stopping by! Tell me about yourself in the comments below. I’d love to get to know y’all.
Until next time,
Emmalee
Hi Emmalee, what a great blog! I hope you keep writing as you continue on your journey.
Hello,
My name is Eman and I want to be a volunteer as a clinical dietitian. I live in MI. What is the best way to find this chance?
Hi Emmalee! ! I’m currently a nutrition & dietetics junior at NYU and frankly finding this blog was as if I was directed towards a pot of gold. I’ve just been binge reading all your blog posts and I’m honestly so grateful I’ve found it. I just wanted to say thank you for sharing your experiences and as a junior who hopes to be on a similar path that you are on, I’m thankful about being able to get a glimpse of what it is like for other students in the field as well. I do have a couple questions I would personally like to ask you but I understand if you’re too busy!
Hi Emmalee! Just found your blog! I’d love to reach out to you with some questions I have. What’s the best way to do that? Feel free to shoot me a quick email that I could respond to!
